My last post caused a little bit of a stir, which in my opinion is a good thing. While I was doing some research for that post, I was discouraged to see the majority of search results were for articles saying there is no mercury-autism link. I want to do something to balance things up a bit.
Fair Autism Media will tell you everything you ever wanted to know about the link between thimerosal and autism. It contains hundreds of hours of video by scientists, parents, activists, lawyers, and politicians.
We have bought some magnets from their store. They also have the book "Evidence of Harm", as well as various videos for sale.
The site is run by parents of children with autism, and they are dedicated to their work. It's worth a look.
That's what my newspaper said yesterday. This is of course misdirection and a lie by omission.
The article reports on a court ruling that occurred in "vaccine court". For those of you who don't know, back in the 1980's the vaccine court was started thanks in part to George Walker Bush.(An interesting fact is that Bush sat on the Eli Lily board of directors at one time) You see, a vaccine manufacturer can't just be sued, the case must go through the vaccine court first. If you win you can take a tax payer funded 250k award, or decline the money and you can take the case to the regular courts. The bottom line is, to sue a manufacturer of a vaccine you must be wealthy and you must have about twenty years to spare. If you don't think that's fair, you are not alone.
The article goes on to talk about how cases of measles are on the rise and how last year a child died because it didn't receive his round of shots. It leads the reader to make a conclusion that the parents of children with autism are emotional, well meaning people who are harming the country.
The ruling found that the MMR vaccine did not cause autism in any of the children. Eh? The headline read "Vaccines Don't Cause Autism, Court Says." It should have read "The MMR Vaccine Doesn't Cause Autism, Court Says." What is the difference?
The MMR vaccine is a live vaccine. This means it contains live Measles, mumps, and Rubella strains. It never has contained the preservative thimerosal, because thimerosal is 50% Mercury, and mercury would kill the live vaccine. It's the mercury that causes autism, not the vaccine itself. It has already been proven in vaccine court.
Yes, this misleading piece of tabloid trash to which I am referring to failed to mention this fact. Doing so might have scared the herd away from taking vaccinations. In the case of Hannah Poling, it was found she had a mitochondrial disorder that was aggravated by the thimerosal, and led to autism. How many kids with autism have this mitochondrial disorder? One in 166 perhaps?
Ive heard people call the science showing the thimerosal autism link to be junk science. I challenged one such person online to find a scientific, not statistical, study that shows there is no link. He couldn't find any because none exist. It can't exist because thimerosal causes autism in certain kids.

I applaud this move, it goes a long way to ease the skepticism and cynical ism that has been a large part of my life over the last five years. However, actions speak louder than words, so here are the top nine secrets that the government should come clean on. If just half the list of things I want to know, some of which may sound ridiculous, but hey, it's my list.

BERKELEY, Calif.--A Halliburton subsidiary has just received a $385 million contract from the Department of Homeland Security to provide "temporary detention and processing capabilities."
The contract -- announced Jan. 24 by the engineering and construction firm KBR -- calls for preparing for "an emergency influx of immigrants, or to support the rapid development of new programs" in the event of other emergencies, such as "a natural disaster." The release offered no details about where Halliburton was to build these facilities, or when.

Why is there no footage of a plane hitting the Pentagon? Why did the buildings fall at near free fall speed? Why did Bush say he saw the first plane hit on television on 9-11 when the footage wasn't released until the next day? We need all documents on this released, and we need a new investigation.
A strange thing happened to me the other day as I was paying my electric bill. The receptionist asked me if I had signed u for the free light bulbs yet. I told her I had not, and then she showed me the corkscrew Mercury filled light bulbs. I could feel the rage building up from my belly, and I had to bite my lip, look her in the eye, and say that I was not interested in the "free" light bulbs. Why would the electric company be pushing these things? Wouldn't using more electricity be in their best interests? I started to ask questions about the bulbs, who was pushing them and why, but the receptionist could see the fire in my eye, and she clammed up.
And then there are the signs and commercials everywhere, get your flu shots here! Once, an elderly co-worker told me he was gong to H.R. to get his work paid for Flu shot. At risk of losing my job (something that happened later anyway) I warned him of the mercury in the Thimerosal in the flu shot. He told me he knew about that, and that he would ask for a Thimerosal free shot. I told him that when he asks, they will tell him they don't have that version available. When he came back, he told me things went down just like he said they would. Why are places of business offering these things?
Mercury is a known neurotoxin. They know people are not going to take the bulbs to a recycling center, lol. They know the chance for autism increases with flu shots, They also know it can put the older population at risk for Alzheimers. Do they want more people to get sick? According to Dr. David Ayoub and his film "Vaccines and the Global Agenda", that is exactly what they want. There was a time when I wouldn't have believed this, but I'm not blind to the evidence.

You're back? Great! The Center for Disease Control recommends flu shots for 86% of the population. They are even recommending children 8 and younger get TWO shots!
But Ed, aren't they just wanting to protect everyone from the Flu?
Last season, flu killed 86 children.
The flu shot is not free, it costs anywhere from 12 to 25 dollars depending on where you get it. I don't know what the profit is per shot, but let's use an arbitrary number like $5. If all 145,000,000 doses are sold, it would mean a profit of 725,000,000, which is a very conservative estimate.
Thimerosal, the Mercury based preservative that is widely believed by some to be the culprit behind the autism epidemic is still in most flu shots. Thimerosal was (suposedly) removed from all vaccines in 2003. It is still in the vaccines, but only in trace amounts. The flu vaccine was the exception. I don't know why they didn't remove it from the flu vaccine, but my guess would be that it comes down to money.
So what is the best way to get people to do what you want? To scare the shit out of them of course!

Thanks Julie. But didn't you recently admit Thimerosal can cause autism?

So if she knows Thimerosal can trigger autism, why is she smiling about the abundance of flu shots? This behaviour is morally reprehensible and possibly criminal.
For those who think after reading this still think they need a flu shot, be aware you can ask for a non-Thimerosal shot. If the nurse doesn't know what that means, ask to see the insert box.

1. Increased neurological disorders. If the Mercury in a vaccine can cause autism, so can the Mercury from a light bulb. 2. Poisoning of the water supply. If people just throw these things away, and they will, the resulting Mercury in the landfills will leak into the water supply further causing autism and possible Alzheimer's disease. 3. Promoting the global warming hysteria. Every time you turn on one of these bulbs you should get a warm and fuzzy feeling that you are helping the environment. It might make people conscious enough of the fake crisis to vote for a carbon tax. Not one aimed at the corporations, but one aimed at the people.
If this stupid law is not reversed by 2014 I am either going to stock up on the old bulbs or just go back to burning kerosene like my ancestors.

I've decided to have some fun with synchromysticism and break down other meanings for the names in pulp culture.
In the film "The Postman", The future United States has been torn apart by civil war by the year 2013.(2012 Armageddon sync) A drifter finds a bag of mail and a dead postman. He proceeds to take the postman's uniform and grabs a bag of mail to try to trick a nearby town into giving him food. He tells the townsfolk a lie that the government has been restored, and the new president is named Richard Star-Key and he operates out of the Metrodome in Minnesota. This inspires a youth named "Ford Lincoln Mercury" to follow in his footsteps and thus the postal service is reborn.
In the beginning of the film, the hero of the story is walking alone with a donkey, and he is aptly kidnapped by a feudal general named Bethlehem. The hero is led to Bethlehem by a donkey, get it? I was watching a trailer for this film, and I was shocked to find a sync with the pyramids of Giza (piles of rocks) with the words "there is no order" superimposed over them! At 22 seconds.

Mercury is the name of the Roman god of communication. He was the god of storytellers and mischief makers. The Staff of Mercury is two entwining snakes with an eagle on the top. It is used by the medical industry today. DNA, the building blocks for human life very much resemble the staff of Mercury. Mercury is also an element, a liquid metal. It was commonly used in thermometers as well as gold smelting and hat making. Hat makers in the 19th century often exhibited odd behavior, which is where the term "mad as a hatter" comes from. The odd behavior is believed to be due to exposure to mercury, which causes neurological disorders. It was and is used as a preservative in vaccines, and many parents believe it causes autism, which is a disease that severely effects a person's communication skills. Mercury the Roman god is the god of communication, Mercury the metal- destroys communication skills. Interesting. In the early twentieth century, Lady Liberty appeared on dimes. These were also known as Mercury dimes because with the winged helmet they resembled the roman god Mercury.

Tony Zizza, a freelance writer who has had opinion pieces published in the Atlanta Jounal Constitution has sided with Michael Savage in his asertion that Autism is a racket. He writes " It’s too bad that most people will either protest him or support the protesters in wanting him fired for essentially calling autism a racket these days. It’s also too bad that most people are lazy and will not look at the broader points he is trying to make." What broader points Tony? That parents struggling to raise a child with autism are parasites looking to get rich from the government? Or that children with autism are troublemakers because they don't have a strong father around? He also says "I seriously doubt many of the protesters of Michael Savage and Neal Boortz are the parents of children with truly diagnosed handicaps." Right. Like it's some vast left wing conspiracy to get conservative talk show hosts off the air. Selwyn Duke is another writer who backs Savage in his offensively titled article "Judge-mentally Impaired Should Get Off Michael Savage’s Back." He pretty much says those who were offended by Savage's remarks are stupid, that Savage was really attacking big pharma and not families dealing with autism.
Do these people live in a different world? Most people in the autism community hate big pharma, because big pharma caused the autism epidemic in the first place. And why are they saying it is just an attempt to make money on medication, when there is no universally accepted medication for autism? An autism diagnosis is not somethng that is easy to get, I know some people who waited three years to get an autism diagnosis. In our case, it was a little over a year.
One could almost come to a conclusion that the attacks on families with autistic children was a coordinated effort in order to confuse the facts and draw attention away from the fact that a federal court has recently found in one case that vaccinations did cause autism, but hey, that would make me a paranoid conspiracy theorist wouldn't it?
A youtube video has been uncovered where radio host Micheal Savage attacks children with autism. I don't have a date for the comments but they seem to be from last month. Here is a transcript.

In my day, if a kid was a troublemaker, he was a troublemaker. If he shot his mouth off in the classroom, he wasn't called autistic, he was called a pain in the neck! They sent them to a special school for pains in the neck. Now he needs medication, he's got autism. Today, they have redefined troublesome children, and now they are calling it autistic all of a sudden. They all have a syndrome. First of all a lot of its a racket to collect disability payments from the government. From basically poor families who have found a new way to be parasites on the government, which is, if you want to collect free money, free medical care, if you want to get the kid to take tests with help, where the answers are given to him, just say yes, he's got a mental illness, add, ddd, asf. To me, there is one disease that they all have, it's called S-T-U-P-I-D. That's the mental illness most of these kids have. Now you say where do you come up with this? That is so cruel of you Michael. Guess what? I was right again. MSNBC, which is a super left website, has a new article out labeled "autism epidemic may be all in the label." You hear this? Do you hear this finally confirm Savage was right again? And Dateline Atlanta, Mike Stovia, AP. A few decades ago, people might have said kids like Ryan (undephicpherable) were just odd or difficult. Those boy of right, that Ryan, eleven is hyper, and prone to angry outbursts. (Hey, the kids could go on a talk radio show.) Sometimes would try to strike a kid in his class that annoys him. Maybe he is a born martial artist. Any(undecipherable) shirt in his mouth, sucking on it, he's an idiot. That's a different story. Prone to angry outbursts means he is going to be a good lawyer or talk show host. Sometimes trying to strangle another kid, if he's got good control he's probably going to be a martial artist or a good ring fighter. the brother though is hopeless. Sticking his shirt in his mouth and sucking on it, finished. Another thing will help him, give him as many shirts as he wants. those who were diagnosed with a form of autism. And it's probably because of children like them that autism has skyrocketed. The latest estimate is one in 150 will have some form of THAT's BULLCRAP!"
These comments are even more offensive than the ones he made last week. He calls children with autism troublemakers and stupid, and he calls the parents parasites. Listen to them for yourself here.
On July 16 2008, radio talk show host stated on his program "the Savage Nation" "I’ll tell you what autism is. In 99 percent of the cases, it’s a brat who hasn’t been told to cut the act out. That’s what autism is. What do you mean they scream and they’re silent? They don’t have a father around to tell them, ‘Don’t act like a moron. You’ll get nowhere in life. Stop acting like a putz. Straighten up. Act like a man. Don’t sit there crying and screaming, idiot.’”
I am 100% for free speech and Savage's right to say that, as I have a right to call his sponsors and ask them to pull sponsorship, which many of the parents of children with autism have done. Today Home Depot and Aflac have dropped sponsorship of the Savage Nation after numerous calls from angry parents and advocacy groups, and more are sure to follow. Autism is not a behavioral problem, it is a developmental disorder. Whether Savage is ignorant or is just stirring up controversy for ratings makes no difference to me. I view his comments as not only offensive, but an attack on the parents of children with autism, parents who have enough to deal with without having a shock jock with a soapbox spread vile theories that have been disproved since the 1980's. For the first time in my life I called a sponsor of a media program and asked them to pull sponsorship from a program. It was easier than I thought it would be, and I am going to do it again tomorrow.

Ok, there is something I need to write about and get out of my system. The preservative called Thimerosal, once commonly used in childhood vaccines and still used in flu shots is directly related to the Autism epidemic. When most of us over the age of 30 were vaccinated, three shots were all that was required. Now I think it is something like 36 shots. This loaded up the Mercury in the kids system, 125 times what was suggested by the EPA.

A panicked CDC held a conference in Simpsonwood Georgia, and invited representatives from the pharmaceutical companies. IN their original findings, there was a statistically significant link between thimerosal and developmental disorders. Since that time, every government sponsored study has been slanted to show there is no link. Oh, and by the way, every government sponsored study has been epidemiological, meaning it uses statistics. They can't do a scientific study showing Thimerosal to be safe, because they can't fake it and hold any credibility.
They say it has been removed, but it hasn't. It is still there in "trace" amounts, although they don't define what a trace amount is. I remember at the time they said it had been removed from vaccines in 2001. True, but they did not recall the vaccines still on the shelves, most of which did not expire until 2003.
Recently, the head of the CDC had to admit to the link, but she did it in a soft and melancholy voice, and the admission has garnered no mainstream media attention. See for yourself.
If anyone thinks this is just a bunch of crap dreamed up in order to profit from a lawsuit, think again. The federal vaccine court has a limit of 3 years from the time the vaccine is given in order to file a lawsuit, thus giving big pharma long term liability protection.
Ok, those are the facts, now its time for a little rant. Why in the hell was pharma reps invited to a conference and the public was not? Isn't government supposed to serve the public? And why is there a vaccine court? Why do they get more protection than any other type of company? How the hell can the CDC publish a study and not say the author worked for a pharma company?
Ok, rant over. I had to stop thinking about this stuff for a long time, because my anger wasn't helping anyone. But I do believe in Kepler's law, that every action causes an equal and opposite reaction. I believe that god is just and things will eventually be put right.
