A few days ago, I posted the top ten secrets the government should come clean on. Number three on my list was "What happened in Roswell New Mexico in 1947?"
While web surfing, I found this article, UFO files to be released under Obama Open Government Memoranda.
It seems a member of Obama's transition team was John Podesta, who has long advocated for the release of the U.F.O. documents. Here he is in 2002.
Reading into the article, nothing is being released, just made easier via the Freedom of Information Act. I'm still cynical, but we shall see.

Top Ten Secrets the Government Should Come Clean On.

Indeed, D.C. has become a "House of Secrets".
President Obama pledged a new era of government transparency yesterday.
"For a long time now there has been too much secrecy in this city," Obama said. "The old rules said that if there was a defensible argument for not disclosing something to the American people, then it should not be disclosed. That era is now over. Starting today, every agency and department should know that this administration stands on the side not of those who seek to withhold information, but those who seek to make it known."
I applaud this move, it goes a long way to ease the skepticism and cynical ism that has been a large part of my life over the last five years. However, actions speak louder than words, so here are the top nine secrets that the government should come clean on. If just half the list of things I want to know, some of which may sound ridiculous, but hey, it's my list.
10. What was the Closed session of Congress all about?
There has been speculation that it was about everything from the collapse of the economy to the arrival of Planet X. Governments shouldn't hide their business from the people, we have a right to know what they talked about.
9. What happened at Montauk?

There have been many rumours concerning the island of Montauk involving alternate realities and time travel. I have always found it fascinating reading, but I pretty much thought it was crap until manbearpig washed up on a nearby shore. So, are we currently conducting time travel/ alternate reality experiments?
8. Just how many people did the government spy on anyway? On Countdown with Keith Olberman last night, a whistle blower admitted the NSA kept files on journalist's phone calls and e-mails. How many other groups were targeted? Yes, I'm wondering about synchromystic bloggers and 911 truth.
7. Why all the Fema Camps?

(Note, I've actually seen the installation in the photo. It's at an army camp where military police train.)
BERKELEY, Calif.--A Halliburton subsidiary has just received a $385 million contract from the Department of Homeland Security to provide "temporary detention and processing capabilities."
The contract -- announced Jan. 24 by the engineering and construction firm KBR -- calls for preparing for "an emergency influx of immigrants, or to support the rapid development of new programs" in the event of other emergencies, such as "a natural disaster." The release offered no details about where Halliburton was to build these facilities, or when.
What new programs? And what "natural disaster"?
6. Did Obama and Hillary make a deal at Bilderburg?

During the democratic primary it looked like Hillary was going to stay in the race until the bitter end. The meeting with Obama came at a time when the uber secret Bilderburg group was meeting, but the place of the Obama/Hillary meeting is still secret. I want to know how much influence secret societies have had on our politics.
5. Who killed the Kennedys?
The question of the century. Did rouge government elements conspire to kill the Kennedys? Why was the confession of Howard Hunt ignored by the mainstream media?
4. Do Vaccines cause Autism?
There was a secret meeting between the CDC and big Pharma at Simpsonwood Ga., where they colluded to cover up any link. What other documents do they have, and why hasn't anyone been prosecuted?
3. What happened at Roswell New Mexico in 1947?
Did we recover an alien spaceship? If we did, what technology have we learned from it? Who all knew about it, and why was it kept secret?
2. Are there pyramids on Mars?

A big stone face sitting between a bunch of pyramids looks kind of fishy to me. What do we know about possible past life on Mars?
1. What really happened on 9-11?
Why is there no footage of a plane hitting the Pentagon? Why did the buildings fall at near free fall speed? Why did Bush say he saw the first plane hit on television on 9-11 when the footage wasn't released until the next day? We need all documents on this released, and we need a new investigation.

Rocky Mountain High
When I was a kid back in the long, long ago, I enjoyed the popular series of "Choose Your Own Adventure" books. I was in the library today, and I spied a couple of them, so I checked them out. The one I want to talk about is "Escape", by R.A. Montgomery, published in 1983.

The headquarters of the free world is Denver. I've never been to Denver, but it and Colorado in general seems to pop up all over popular culture.
Mork from the planet Ork, complete with a silver upside down pyramid on his spacesuite, lands his egg in Boulder Colorado.

The Stephen King novel "The Shinning" takes place at a Colorado Hotel. The young poy in the novel is a psychic, and the hotel it takes place in is full of evil spirits.
In Stephen King's book "The Stand", 95% of the world's population has been killed by a super flu, and survivors gather into two camps. The forces for good gather in Boulder Colorado, while the forces of evil gather in Las Vegas Nevada.
In a post nuclear war torn America, the town of Jercho Kansas, just East of Denver Colorado, fights to survive. (I have refused to watch this "program", but I have heard about it.)
So, why does most stories of post apacalyptic America take place in Colorado, home to human looking aliens from the planed Ork, as well as a creepy motel full of demonic ghosts? It gets weirder.
Gilligan, played by Bob Denver, becomes stranded on an island after being submerged by Aquarius. Denver is now on an Island, complete with a scientist, movie star, and a couple of millionaires.

The above stone is located at the Denver International Airport. Notice at the bottom it says "New World Airport Comission". Eh? I thought they stopped calling America the "new world" about three hundred years ago. The rest of the airport has strange murials of dead babies and kids beating swords into plowshares. It's like some kind of sick nightmare, and there is no good reason for it being in a public airport. If you are unfamiliar with Denver International Airport, check it out here.
I read somewhere, I don't have a link, that there was going to be a synchromystic convention, to be held in......Denver! It kind of freaked me out.
Now don't get me wrong, I don't think the citizens of Denver, or Colorado are evil or anything, but Denver seems to be synching ss some kind of headquarters for a post apocalyptic America.
I leave you now with a couple of my favorite Denvers.
When Uncle Jesse, played by Denver Pyle, would talk to the "Duke" boys one the CB radio, he refered to himself as the shepperd calling for his "lost sheep".
John Denver, who met god in the film "Oh God", performing "Rocky Mountain High".
(note, my spell checker doesn't appear to be functioning, so please forgive any errors.)

The year is 2045 and despite your young age, you are returning from a secret spy mission to Dorado, the repressive police state that now occupies New Mexico, Arizona, and Texas. You and your group must make it safely back home to Turtalia in the north. You have succeeded in acquiring secret plans for the Doradan invasion of Turtalia. Getting this information into the hands of Turtalian leaders will save thousands of lives. But the journe north to the city known as Denver is long and treacherous. And it's difficult to know who you can trust to help get you there...
